Located just 45km west of Dubrovnik, Peljesac and Korcula region offer you unforgettable experience. The birthplace of Marco Polo and sixth largest island in Croatia, Korcula is 20 miles long and rather narrow, between 4 and 5 miles wide on average. It shares a windy channel with Peljesac peninsula. Well known for its vineyards, excellent red wines Dingac and Postup, great shingle beaches dotted along its coast, this is a fantastic destination to spend your summer holidays.
Due to its windy channel, it is also very popular among windsurfers and kite-surfers from all around Europe and beyond. It offers a variety of accommodations including several really nice camping grounds located right on its sea shores. The area is also well known for its oyster and mussels production especially around Mali Ston Bay in the vicinity of Ston Town. What can we say – Two amazing destinations in one day! Enjoy the spectacular Mediterranean scenery of the glittering Peljesac peninsula, the ancient beauty of Korcula island, and their delicious food and wine culture.
Domestic prosciutto – Njeguš steak ( steak stuffed with prosciutto), oysters and seafood, Montenegrian wine Vranac and most popular Niksic beer are some of the dishes you need to taste there.
